On August 22nd, 2019, a new master’s student Ms. Han Gao and I visited San Antonio Water System (SAWA)‘s Brackish Groundwater Desalination Facility at H2Oaks Center (4588 Hardy Rd, Elmendorf, TX 78112) with my friend and collaborator Dr. Harshad Kulkarni (UT San Antonio). SAWS’s staff kindly gave us an excellent tour of their state-of-the-art brackish groundwater desalination facility. We also collected water samples from the RO units for our research experiments.
