On August 26th, 2019, I visited the Carlsbad Desalination Plant in Carlsbad, CA as a technical tour offered during the American Chemical Society (ACS)’s National Meeting and Expo in San Diego, California. This event was organized by the ACS Committee on Environmental Improvement (CEI) as part of the meeting theme “Chemistry and Water”.
